This is written from an English perspective about College fun in the USA. The author has spent considerable time in the USA since the 1980's both on business and vacation, so has a good, but not perfect, level of understanding and experience. Pete had a good and undisturbed night's sleep, his first since arriving in America. He was down early to join the breakfast table.
