Jealousy

OK. I admit it. I am jealous of my neighbours Pam and Mike. Their perfect lives, the nice cars the nice trips, their toned bodies and to top it all off they are the nicest people you will ever meet. My life is OK, but I have to admit the grass does really seem greener on the other side of the fence.

The overplayed saying was just what I was thinking as I applied yet another layer of sunscreen to my British sourced body before venturing into the jungle of weeds that I call a yard. As I struggled with my lawn mover I enviously glanced across the fence as Pam tended her immaculate roses in a skimpy swimsuit. Her skin was a radiant healthy golden colour that seemed to reflect the vibrancy of the flowers she was tending. Many times my mind had teased me sending me her in my dreams only to wake up next to my wife. Yes my imagination was in full swing that day which is why I probably did not pay attention to where I was going and promptly ran the mover into a drain spout clipping it off the side of my house sending it crashing across the fence and into their yard.

The resulting crash of the pipe and the stream of explanatives from me brought the attention of Mike to see what had happened.
