If you have access to the archive, you might want to read some of the previous Guest Services stories in all of which which Michèle appears. Plus you might want to read Pandora's Box/i> and Pandora's Toy in which Pandora, Tom, Juliet, Becca and I first appear.

When I wrote Pandora's Toy, the original story in which Becca appears, I gave her the backstory of having an audition with Cirque du Soleil who have half-a-dozen shows in Las Vegas. That meant that in the middle of the story, she moved to Montréal where Cirque du Soleil has their headquarters. The moment I typed the name of the city, I knew I would have to write this story, even though I knew only that there would be a bet, and that Michèle and Becca had to get together. If you've read the earlier stories, just the title of this story would tell you that much, so I'm not giving anything away.

This story is for muffdiver53. He (I assume he's a guy) gets itchy if nobody visits Michèle in Montréal for too long.

I've made this story standalone so even if you haven't read the other stories, you'll enjoy this one anyway. But you'll probably enjoy it more if you know where all the characters are coming from.
