I was going over some paperwork at my desk this past summer when one of my coworkers approached me. His name was Tony and we often chatted when we were in the office. He came over and told me that he has finally closed on the new house that he was purchasing and had finally moved in. I was excited for him because I knew how much he really wanted to buy this house. We chatted about it for a bit and as we were doing so, our other coworker Christopher, joined the conversation. The three of us talked about Tony's new house and Tony suggested that once he was completely settled, he would invite us over to check the place out. We all agreed it sounded like a wonderful idea, and Tony said that he would let us know when it would be a good day. After chatting some more, we ended up going back to work before our manager came around.

About three weeks later, Tony sent a text message to both Christopher and I, letting us know that we could stop by the following Saturday and he would throw some food on the grill, for us to check out his house. He also recommended we bring swimsuits, because the house had an in ground pool. I quickly responded, telling him I would be there, and Christopher responded a short time later with a similar message. I looked forward to it, because it had been a long year already, and I hadn't really done anything during the summer with everything that was going on in the world so it would be nice to get out for a bit. I had enough of being locked in the house with the hubby for all these months.
