This past summer, my husband and I decided to take a few days to ourselves down the shore. we needed to get away for a bit because it had been such a crazy year with everything going on in the world. We left our little guy with my parents and headed to the shore. It was about a three-hour ride, but thankfully there was not much traffic, so we made pretty good time. we arrived at our hotel and after checking in, we decided to go sit by the pool and unwind.

We spent most of the afternoon by the pool, working on our tans and just relaxing. We enjoyed a couple of drinks as well, before deciding to go back to our room and get changed. Once we were changed, we headed out and took a stroll around the area, checking out shops and other places. We eventually found a seafood place and decided to enjoy dinner, before heading back to our hotel to call it a night.

The following day, was spent in a similar fashion with us hanging by the pool, going down to beach, and eventually having dinner at a lovely place. That night, while having dinner, we enjoyed a couple of drinks and my husband started to joke around with me.
