I was going up I-35, after just dropping off by wife and two kids in Austin. The radio blaring. It was about 9:30pm when I spotted a young girl walking on the feeder. I turn off the interstate and looped around I am not sure why but I thought she may need some help. I didn't see a car stranded or any thing. I pulled up and offered her a ride.

She quickly jumped in the car, throwing her backpack into the backseat. She told me she just had to get away with no questions asked. I told her I could take her as far as Dallas.

"Great anywhere's but here" was all she said as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. She had a very pretty face, smooth looking skin and shoulder length blonde hair. I couldn't make out her age or her body as her shirt was a loose fitting flannel and was not tucked in. This girl must have slept for an hour before waking, and then she just sat quietly staring out to nowhere.

When we were 30 miles outside of Dallas I finally asked where she wanted to be dropped off. She turned to me with a tear in her eye.
